Almost completed this commission for Alan Bott of Pemberton Tyres. It’s based on a black/white photo of Steve with one of his favourite bikes, a Triumph Metisse Desert Racer. To make the commission more interesting and appropriate I have added the desert scene background to show the bike and McQueen in the setting it would be raced in!

Enjoyed this commission, especially the chrome reflections on the exhaust, rear shocks and polished engine cases. Bit more work needed on detailing of rear tyre before it’s complete.
