On Saturday night of the Motocross of Nations at Thunder valley, Lakewood, Colorado, Youthstream President Giuseppe Luongo presented two Rob Kinsey original painting’s in memory of Andrew McFarlane and Danny “Magoo” Chandler.
Illario Ricci, who was McFarlane’s manager when he rode the MX2 Grand Prix in 2005, graciously received the action painting of “Sharkey” McFarlane, exploding a berm on his Yamaha.
MXoN promoter Dave Clabaugh was honoured to receive the acrylic on canvas painting of an American icon Danny “Magoo” Chandler, pictured leading the world when he won all four moto’s of the Motocross & Trophee des Nations back in 1982.
Both riders sadly passed away during 2010 and these paintings will live on as a testement to their achievements in the sport!
